Becoming a Personal Trainer
A couple of months ago I began working on my goal to become a qualified personal trainer and here I am at 5S Fitness in Macclesfield receiving my Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing. The next step is level 3, after which I will be fully qualified.

Pelvic Floor Exercises
The pelvic floor is a supportive sling of muscles from the tailbone to the pubic bone. They support the bladder and bowel (and the womb in women). They contract when you sneeze, cough, or laugh to prevent leaking urine.

Therapeutic Yoga Follow-up
I’ve just spent the weekend on a Therapeutic yoga course. The course has introduced me to a clinical approach to yoga exercises, and I spent the weekend practising and teaching therapeutic stretches, breathing exercise, and some mindful meditation techniques.
