About Me
I passionately believe that everyone deserves to feel strong, confident, and empowered in their own body. Investing time in yourself and your health today is how you build the best future for yourself—one where you can stay active, feel strong, and keep doing the things you enjoy.
The sessions so far have been great, Chrissie is really professional and connects really well with the group. She is warm and welcoming and seems like she really knows her stuff.
Teaching Pilates is both a passion and a hobby of mine. I lead group classes and provide tailored 1-to-1 sessions.
Through a combination of physiotherapy, Pilates, strength training, and a focus on well-being, I take a holistic approach, emphasising long-term health and helping individuals live active, fulfilling lives well into the future.
When I’m not teaching Pilates, I work as an Advanced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist for the NHS.
My NHS clinical work focuses on helping people who often feel stuck or overwhelmed by complex conditions. My specialist areas include, but are not limited to:
- Spinal Musculoskeletal Issues: I treat all areas of the body, but I am the spinal lead in my department, which means I stay focused on best practice and clinical guidelines for spinal care. I also teach and mentor other physiotherapists on the spine.
- Strength Training: Tailoring strength training and exercise rehab is something I am deeply passionate about.
- Healthy Ageing, Menopause, Bone Health, Osteopenia, and Osteoporosis: Using evidence-based exercise to support bone density, muscle strength, and overall vitality through life transitions.
- Women’s Health Recovery: Post-natal recovery and post-operative breast cancer care.
- Patients with Persistent Musculoskeletal Pain: Within my NHS role, I work with individuals who have already tried other physiotherapy treatments or medical interventions without getting the results they hoped for. Because of my specialist expertise in managing complex presentations, I receive referrals directly from GPs, First Contact Practitioners, and fellow physiotherapists within the organisation to help their most challenging cases find a path forward.
Chrissie is an amazing teacher. She is knowledgeable and very helpful at adapting postures for your needs … I have loved her classes and would definitely recommend her classes to anyone.
